Photo of a Leica 250 GG camera with electric motordrive MOOEV from 1944 in excellent condition which is to be auctioned next Saturday at the Westlicht gallery in Vienna. With a start prize of 80,000 euros, it might become the most expensive 35 mm camera ever sold in an auction.
Another Leica 250 GG was sold in 1996 for DM 120.000.
The item on offer is one of (at the most) 15 surviving cameras with motordrive and is the only one in as new condition.
